A year ago today (er well.. yesterday), Tobias plopped himself down in my lap and was like "Hi there."

A year later, he's still my one and only. No matter how many dolls I get (which is shaping up to be FAR MORE THAN I PLANNED as will be discussed later), Tobias will always be my one and only. ♥

Today, he celebrates his one year anniversary as well as his birthday.

Anyway. I really do love this little bugger.

As far as other dolls go.. I'm sort of in a bit of a stupid situation! I went overboard. Like seriously. Honestly, a Limited Release of FIVE dolls in the entire world.. I was just going to try for shits 'n giggles, but who would have guessed I'd actually be able to get a Lupinus Lishe boy?

So basically I'm going to be indebted to my mother for the rest of my life. As soon as I'm home for Christmas break, I'm selling like pretty much all of my possessions. I'm also going to try and start up some sort of crafty doll business like jewelry or something to make some money. I mean, I would be able to handle this fine if.. if I were not still working on paying off another doll (the Nasia/Ken boy) and thinking about ordering another one (FCS MSD F-09.) In addition to that, it's the holiday season. I still have shopping to do. I'm pretty much screwed. I got myself in way too deep this time.. I might actually have a doll problem. .___.;; I don't know what I'm going to do, really! Perhaps cuddle Tobias and Miku a little and pretend that moneydollars and other dolls don't exist. :D;;;

Basically I'm pretty dumb. *A* I'm still kind of in disbelief over what happened tonight.. I told my mom and I think she is too. .__.;;; Gah. I don't know, I'll work things out somehow.

Tobias and I have had a bit of a rough night. Please excuse the excessive angst and really shitty 2AM Photoshopping. Don't look too closely, it's seriously pretty bad. Whatever.. It was Toubi-art-therapy time tonight.

"Fix You" was actually a song I got really into in early December of last year (thanks to a photostory by umiyuko actually) which was right when I got Tobias, so it's always been a song that I connect with him. Unfortunately it's also got a lot of relevance to a current situation, so it's kinda gotta be both.

A good 2 or 3 years ago when Volks was pretty much the only doll company around, I rather fell in love with this Nasia/Ken hybrid on eBay. Mom and I bid on him for a while but he eventually got into a price range I couldn't handle ($600+) and I sadly let him go.

I hadn't seen another Nasia/Ken hybrid since thing.. until this.

I think it may be the very same one.

Edit Oh god. It's the exact same boy. Purchased in October 2003 off of eBay. The auction pictures were ridiculously cute pictures of him playing like a kitty, including cat toys. It's that doll.

HAY GUYS.

Soooo basically my girlfriend thrives and I are really big dollgays (we met through a doll forum *A*) and.. well, her Dollshe Bernard just got here recently so last weekend, he and Tobias "met" for the first time. We had basically planned for them to be.. WELL YOU KNOWWWW.. and despite the difference in head sizes (Tobias' head is like HUEG) they ended up being pretty much absolutely out of control adorable. Sooo we put together pretty much the GAYEST PHOTOSTORY EVER. If you're unprepared for excessive cheesy ridiculousness, gtfo. If not, onto the cutes.

Additional information-- Vincent is pretty much HARDCORE PROTECTIVE over his little brother. Which is cute. Tobias is basically the most awkward thing ever. Also this photostory was the first glimpse of Miku having [GASP] actual feelings, perhaps?! And uh.. yeah, that's pretty much it.

But anyway, yeah. Tobias now has a DORRIE BOYFRENNNN and it's pretty cute. I don't really know what's up with Miku and Miki since they're both youngins but it's nothing serious. Anyway, this is probably one of the cheesiest doll anythings I've ever done. But it's cutes, so whatever. Please don't think I'm an absolute retard, haha. ♥

Tobias has, for a while, been somewhat of an alter-ego to me. When I'm feeling crappy, my photos convey him feeling crappy. When I'm feeling awesome and amazing, the same goes for photos of him. I recently decided that a pretty cool girlie by the Internetz name of thrives makes me pretty happy, and I'd like to think that it's pretty mutual. These pictures were taken August 23rd, inspired by a song she sent me.. "Jelly in the Merry Go Round" (hello engrish) by Shazna. We became "official" on the 27th and this song has since become "our song" because we're nerdygays, so the lyrics (which are in English) are pretty meaningfulgays. Anyway, I finally get to see her again tomorrow and though it's taken me a while to get this up, I think they're appropriate for right now.

Went into NYC today to meet up with some DoD-ers, V6/thrives, DontExplainYourself/darkartscat, z3ncat, Breatheoutmysoul, Billeh and Misuka. Much ♥. We doll nerd-ed and everyone was pretty gay for Tobias, which is something I'm just sorta getting used to. I like it, though. I think doll stuff may be one thing I'm actually good at. Gaysu.

Assuming he has not been shipped back to Korea (the post office is a jerk and even though they're supposed to have been holding our mail all week since we've been away, there was a call on our answering machine that was basically like "we've tried to deliver your crap twice, if you don't claim it tomorrow we're shipping it back" so I'm rly scared) my MNF Shiwoo should be here tomorrow.

I'm excited. I hope he's a good fit. :3 I haven't said what I'm naming him yet 'cause I dunno that it'll fit. I hope it does. Blah words should sleep now sup 4 am.
